That's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" not just September. I assume the one they were talking about is from Earth, Wind, and Fire since apparently it is a very common wedding song and they mentioned a specific date and it opens with "Do you remember the 21st night of September?"

2023-06-30 21:17:24 +0000 UTCIncluding Ob-la-di Ob-la-da?? Why? Only thing I can think of is the "life goes on" refrain...? I get some of the more related ones but some of these definitely seem odd from generations who constantly complain about trigger warnings, safe spaces, and "snowflakes"

2022-10-18 12:46:27 +0000 UTCI already knew I was older than you guys but MAN this entire episode was me yelling at my phone. I was 21 and evidently that 7ish years made all the difference. I don’t support bans at all, but every single song you mentioned on this list made sense to me as something that might have made me (or at least someone) go “oh my god no” and slam the radio off in horror. Which is the number one thing radio stations don’t want you to do.

2022-10-18 12:41:23 +0000 UTCI’m old, not sure how old you all are, but living thru 9/11 as an adult was something you can’t imagine. Every American was sad, depressed, angry, and terrified.the list seems ridiculous, and some of the songs are, but there were 2 or 3 days where TV did ing show anything but news on ALL chsnnels. Trust me it was worth being over-careful
