I have a Google Pixel and tthe "Google assistant" screens all my calls from unknown numbers which really cuts downs on my spam intake.

From what I can gather, it started happening after I subscribed to Federal Student Loan Borrower Updates via www.ed.gov/subscriptions. My working theory is that the U.S. Department of Education sold my info to some scammy company(s) who put me on a bunch of lists :(

2022-10-15 14:45:44 +0000 UTCKind of annoying to get so much spam for political campaigns that say they are fighting for environmental/climate reasons. I know it's a small impact per message, but collectively messages use up resources (electricity and water to keep data centres cool).
