I think the most important lesson learned from this story is to always show proper decorum when asking a lady to dance.

Our princess was not aiming for fatal blows. but I guess her being crazy does explain that. not going crazy. for I really doubt she was ever that sane except maybe drastically long ago. Interesting that she said she could not actually counter the sword strike itself.

Though this however was a fight. tripping her opponent is completely a fair tactic in battle. Now that may seem really short for a fight. however that is how a lot of actual fights tend to go. one blow deciding things.
