My parents never really disciplined me, being the youngest I was the only one of the children to not be physically disciplined and somehow I turned out to be the nicest one with almost pathological observation of social niceties. Raising kids, I think is really just a ******* snowflake situation, being authoritative or being the kid's "friend", and everything in between, can produce the best and worst children.

Two friends of mine have a shithead child who fucking controls their life and my wife and I don't have kids so I don't feel like I can say anything. It's awful.
