At first when i saw the pictures, i was both stoked and let down in some way. But after seeing the pictures a second time, i came to terms with what they were going for, and started appreciating what they are trying to do with this look. I totally agree with your perspective of this Greg, and love the fact that the DC movies have a more "real world" vibe to them. I remember watching the first Avengers movie and thinking it was awesome, but when I watched it a second time, i got kinda disappointed because i started noticing details that I didn't like, e.g. the fact that you don't see any civilians die, in spite of the whole city being totally demolished? I thought it to be so weird. That's why I actually really liked Man of steel the first time around, even though I agree with the color palet being a bit boring and lacking. But i'm SO excited for this movie, AND suicide squad ! Can't wait to see the full vision of the DC universe ! :D
