This, combined with a friend asking for advice on getting into comic books inspired me to pick American Alien! I've read all the ones that have come out so far now and love it. I hate the idea that clark kent is a mask for superman when he was clark kent his whole life, and while other comics recently have tried to flesh him out more as well, Landis you have hit it right on the nail. to be honest as well, I have not seen chronicle and have actually gone as far as saying it looked terrible and din't want to see it, but having listened to you speak about the movie I realize I was quite wrong in my presumptions ( as presumptions usually are wrong ), and the movie is really good. props to kinda funny for this amazing content!
