I'm pretty sure leviathan was from morrisons batman inc run. I think at the time it was talia al ghuls terrorist group. I could totally be wrong about that though. But I'm also really looking forward to it

Hello all! Required Reading: Didn't get to it and it sounds like I lucked out haha. What I've been Reading: - Action Comics: This has been pretty great recently and I'm really interested in the Leviathan arc. I know Spyral is from the Grayson comic but apparently Leviathan is too. I read all of Grayson and don't remember any Leviathan stuff so I hope that won't be too important for this arc. - War of the Realms has been...okay. I've read Jason Aaron's entire run up to this point so it's weird to be reading this. The War of Realms started in the Thor comics somewhere around 2012 and 2013 so it's hard to get that excited about it. At this point, it kinda feels like a tv show that's been on for 6 or 7 seasons. It's still nice to see, but it's not as exciting as it once was. Young Justice #5: This book almost made me cry. When I decided to read comics, I followed Tim Drake's team from the Young Justice books, to Teen Titans to the New 52 (PS: fuck New 52 Teen Titans), so I already had a really special connection to this team. But I've also been reading the original Robin series in my spare time for the past 2 years or so (I just finished issue 100 on the same day Endgame came out) and that's where Tim and Stephanie began. So reading a book where Tim and Steph are happy and together and the old Young Justice crew gets referenced was really emotional for me. This issue referenced characters that haven't been seen since the 90's and I loved every second of it! Heroes In Crisis: Around issue 3, I decided this wasn't the book for me. I kept reading in the hopes that it would get better but that never really happened. I've never had an affinity for Wally West (Bart was always my speedster) but I feel awful for his fans. He was wiped out with the New 52, then he was semi-restored as a kid, and then he was fully brought back...only to be made into a murderer a year later. I thought it sucked not having Tim around a lot but I think Wally fans probably wish he just stayed erased at this point lol.

hello greg and cohost! been a member for a long time and finally upped my membership just to be apart of this show, so i apologize for the long post. please cut it short if you feel like it required Reading: while i liked the story of LOW i felt like the art kind of held it back. i really like tochini's covers, but when it comes to interiors the colors muddy up the page and make it harder to tell whats happening panel to panel. this bummed me out as i have been a massive fan of both these guys since their book Last Days of American Crime, which i highly recommend for next months club. this months reading: ive been really enjoying the run on uncanny xmen, even if it now feels like a place holder till hickman relaunches all the books in july but for the first time in years i feel like im reading the xmen at their best. also i have to support any xmen team with havok,multiple man, and chamber in the lineup, I dropped Batman for the last couple issues of the "Knightmares" story as it felt like pure filler and the writer spinning wheels.I have all the love for King but this story really killed the momentum of the book for me. Also I dislike the "its all a dream" story formula as i feel its just a way for a writer to explicitly state the themes of their story without progressing the actual story. and finally ive been loving justice league, and east of west, which is Hickman at his most Hickman. its not for everybody but i love it . also Morrisons run on green lantern continues to be the best superhero book out there. quick question: what are feeling on the last Heroes in Crisis and Wally West? what are feelings about announcing new lineups and status quo changes midway through the current creators' run ?(i.e. hickman and uncanny xmen) thanks for all you do and cant wait for next month
