2019-08-15 23:56:45 +0000 UTCHey Tim (or if another kinda funny member sees this please share with Tim) ps sorry for the long post. I might have something that could help with your sleep issues. I have had very very severe sleep issues my entire life up until about a year and a half ago. I attributed it to stress and also depression, which I struggle with, as many others out there and the lack of sleep definitely does not help. However it got so bad that I would go a full month with only 2 hours a night of sleep. It was absolutely miserable. So I asked my mom, who is a nutritionist, dietitian, professor, and so on. She has several letters after her name and keeps adding to them lol. Anyway, she had been looking into reading DNA or nutrigenomics. It’s the same system companies like 23 and me use but this is for a more in depth look at which chromosome you do and don’t have and a lot of other stuff I don’t understand. So I took a DNA test and had a nutrigenomics person read it. Turns out my body process adrenaline very very poorly, which is the main reason that I’ve had trouble sleeping all my life. (I’m 26 years old) It’s not as though I’m an adrenaline junky or anything it’s just that it would build up and keep my body and mind racing all night long, leaving me unable to relax. So I take natural supplements (cause my mom is a health nut) and DUDE no joke it’s incredible. I sleep almost every night all the way through. It doesn’t take me an hour and a half to fall asleep anymore. And after all this my mom got a degree in nutrigenomics cause she loved it so much! I still have the rare night that it affects me but it’s once in a week or sometimes 2 weeks which is vastly better than every night. I don’t know if you have the same thing but the way you described it was very similar to my own experience. In any case there were many other things I learned from the test. So I hope this can help you and thanks for sharing on the podcast. That’s why I love you guys and why I’m proud to be a best friend.

2019-08-15 23:28:21 +0000 UTCI have anxiety, panic attacks, and a heart condition. Do you have any idea how expensive it is to have a panic attack so bad you think you are having a heart attack? Because holy fuck man.
