Patreon Pledge Update - Sales Tax

We had a call with Patreon last week where they let us know that due to recent legislation, Patreon will start charging sales tax for applicable patrons starting July 1. A lot of international patrons are already paying VAT on their pledges, so this will be a similar change. We're working with Patreon to ensure that each patron is only being taxed for the items/perks that are taxable in their state (since so many of our reward tiers build on top of each other, not every item will always be taxable). If you have any questions, Patreon has put out a more comprehensive FAQ that hopefully has what you're looking for!
