What the term "parapolitics" does is mystify something that shouldn't be. Gladio as an operation was not revealed until the 1990's but the public at large was already suspicious it existed in any form. I recommend you the writings of Situationist Gianfranco Sanguinetti; "On Terrorism and the State" and "Truthful Report on the Last Chances to Save Capitalism in Italy", both written during the Years of Lead (i.e. Gladio). Elio Petri's excellent film "Investigation of Citizen Above Suspicion" (starring Communist actor Gian Maria Volonte), also made during this period, also looked at it as a systemic issue. Even the Costa-Gavras film "Z" (which is about Greece's Gladio) was made years earlier, based on a true story. So I don't agree that it was viewed as a conspiracy theory, maybe by certain American skeptics who function as apologists and gatekeepers for the establishment.

Dark Alliance

i see parapolitics not so much as "conspiracy theories" but a type of investigation that exists between conspiracy theories and neutral mainstream journalism. what we know about gladio/P2 is a good example because what we know about it today would have been considered a ridiculous conspiracy theory in the 60s and 70s, and i agree the juggalos get a bad wrap. i'll sit with it

The Antifada

Don't understand the connection of Gladio to "parapolitics". There's fringe conspiracy theories on any subject, Gladio (and to a further extent the CIA) where created as anti-left projects. Very silly to throw in the Juggalos; who are persecuted by law enforcement, since the FBI labeled them a gang. People are loosing child custody battles and getting kicked out of government jobs by being ICP fans and people getting pulled over and arrested over fucking bumper stickers of the group. On ICP and the left; Struggle Session and Chapo did a good episodes.

Dark Alliance

do not listen to this while falling asleep unless you live for the nightmares

Good bro talk ep. I always mention this movie when mkultra comes up. Good stuff. It touches on mkultra and manages to connect it to the Frankfurt school in a great way. The Net: The Unabomber, LSD & the Internet https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GY6fb59XFbQ
