LIVE RECORDING - Matrix Reloaded in Review

Hey guys, first time writing in. I hope it's not too late, I listened to your review of Matrix Reloaded, and to celebrate i re-watched the movies with y'all and I finally followed the ridiculous architect conversation and it was actually a bit more comprehensive than I or y'all gave it credit for. So through all the iterations of the Matrix, the problem with creating the Matrix was humanity didn't respond well without being given a choice. This was discovered by the Oracle, who was created after the first couple attempts by the architect resulted in massive failure. The One is a manifestation of this mathematical error - basically, for the matrix to work, humanity needed to be given a choice between freedom or the matrix. To deal with those who chose freedom, the machines needed an insurance policy against the people who chose freedom. So the one was created to be the person to reset the matrix whenever the rebels grew to a certain size. To keep the illusion going, the oracle's "prophecy" was created as a means of control, people thought the one was their savior but in reality the one was meant to be sent back to the architect to restart each matrix cycle. Neo was meant to pick the door that reset the matrix, picking 7 dudes and 13 chicks, to be the new founders of Zion in the new 7th iteration of the matrix. But because of love and trinity, he rebelled against this choice and chose to save her, and Zion (and all of humanity) was then supposed to die as a result. However, Smith's fuckery meant that in the 3rd movie neo could come back and bargain with the machines to stop smith in exchange for not destroying Zion (which would have happened, if Smiths situation hadn't put the machines in a bind). I've watched these movies a few dozen times and don't mean to be obnoxious, this last rewatch with y'all is the first time Ive followed the architect conversation enough to piece this together. I only sent this because this conversation may play a part in the plot of the new movie coming out. I love y'all's content and have been a follower since your review of endgame introduced me to your content years ago. Big love to y'all, and thanks for what you do.
