- I say in the video I went outside because I didn't want to cry in front of Gen. To be clear, I cry in front of Gen ALL THE TIME. I meant that I didn't want to be crying next to her while she works and I don't want to comforted. I didn't want to torture her by falling apart next to her on this video.

I’m about to be 31 and I’ve never lost anyone (including a pet) that meant as much as Portillo meant to you since I was a kid, so in a weird way I’ve never grieved really as an adult? So while it’s obviously painful for you to talk about, it’s comforting knowing what grief can look like for a future I know I’ll be feeling with one of my 3 cats that mean the fucking world and back to me. So yea, just wanted to say thanks and hope talking about it lowers the tides of your ocean of grief ❤️
