Ben will have suuch an amazing source of information to dive into when he grows up. So many of his parents' taughts/experiences before and during his life are well documented. Fascinating

2022-10-17 18:30:20 +0000 UTCGreg this is what every sports dad goes through when their kid is an infant. One of two things is gonna happen: 99%: You're gonna see 8 year old Ben out on that basketball court and realize you have fucking nothing to worry about. 1%: You're gonna love your kid and support what they want so much that you'll realize college rivalries are kinda ridiculous. You'll wear that KU Dad hat so proudly because what he's accomplished is so much more important than how much you don't like the other jersey. My daughter has had a couple conversations with my college rival's softball coach and really it's kinda awesome to see someone else so into my kid. And their school colors are TEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIBLE

2022-10-11 22:51:23 +0000 UTCGreg I doubt you have anything to worry about. The only way I see this playing out is A) Kansas is the best school that offers Ben a full scholarship (unlikely) B) Kansas is the only school that recruits him (more unlikely). And kids def take their parents school into consideration. I think at the very very least Ben will never be a Jayhawk.
