A great example is right now, Joey and I have several emails about posters/etc in our inboxes. Joey has the info, but yesterday, she spent her day stuffing envelopes, so today is the day where she's set time aside to chase those answers. I'd love a second chance, but I totally get not wanting to go down that road again. I just want y'all happy! - Greg

2023-01-03 19:20:41 +0000 UTCJust thought I would share my thoughts on customer service issues because it came up on this podcast. Years ago I was pledged at a tier where I was supposed to have physical rewards sent to me and it never happened. I sent messages on Patreon and emails to the crew, as Greg recommended, but never heard a word back or received the items. The Reddit and Discord also had posts that showed I was far from the only person who experienced this (typically with replies bashing anyone who dared say anything critical of KF). It’s not the end of the world that I never received those things, but I was pretty annoyed for a long time. Now that I’m a content pledge only, I’m much happier. The reality is that KF does great things that are worth supporting, but is pretty poor at following through on commitments, so I would take that into consideration if you’re considering pledging money. I would recommend only pledging money if you’re going to be ok not receiving the items.

I think this Gregway situation is just a tiny example of you learning those lessons of how to adjust and set new work-life boundaries; probably sometimes ones you should have set for yourself before but just hadn’t been forced to. Do you think these lessons you’re learning will trickle down into how you run KF and to your expectations for your employees? Thanks for this big Gregway. Felt like an AMA which is my personal favorite Patreon content!
