Hey Sean or Andy, what was the episode y’all did that had that “big rock candy mountain” song in it?

Andrew Rigney

Nice to see something on folk. But unless there is talk of the real OG of Folk music in America, Joe Hill... a lot is missing. Otis Gibbs, who plays into to story of Joe Hill in present day, has an excellent non partisan chat about Joe Hill 105 anniversary last fall of being murdered by Firing squad. How important did the FBI think Joe Hill Was when dead? They rounded up all his ashes and would not release them for 70 Years... All to prevent him becoming a household name sononomus with the American Labour movement, he should have a holiday America... I will give this a listen. Thanks for giving a Damn - Otis Gibbs Interview Podcasts with many of the greats over the years, as he is a very accomplished Folk musician world wide as well. IE over 3 hours with Bill Bragg. Joe Hills Ashes - Otis Gibbs chat. If you do not know of Joe Hill, you better if you want to think you know ANYTHING about the labour movement in America, and those that truly died for it. https://youtu.be/YY0O1v07_XQ
