2022-03-18 06:16:34 +0000 UTCThe idea that the communes are genuinely forms of popular power, which are antagonistic to the state (the contradiction of state supported ‘dual power’ is not reckoned with here) isn’t borne out by the facts, as far as I’m aware. The chapters on Venezuela from ‘ebb of the pink tide’ by Gonzalez are very good on this,
