What typically goes into the planning of the events with crowds of people, and do you all have any future ideas of something big at The Spare Bedroom?

2023-03-16 00:44:01 +0000 UTCWhen I was a kid my older brother and I loved wrestling. When he left at 18 and I was 14 I fell off of watching it (but kept buying all the games). Then he came back to town around the time Smackdown premiered (on my 20th birthday). Due to this I got back into it pretty hardcore. A couple years later he passed away (fuck cancer). Since then I have had on and off periods of watching. I pretty much fell off for a decade until some dude on a podcast mentioned he was hosting a new show on the Network. I signed up to watch it and since the Rumble was the same weekend (my favorite PLE) I decided I might as well watch that as well. Just over a year later I've watched every PLE since then and check the results of Raw and Smackdown on Twitter (I've yet to bring myself to watch them on Hulu every week because that's just so much more programming). It was interesting seeing the Rumble last year where I didn't know like 90% of the entrants compared to this year where I knew all of them. Back in the old days we'd go to the live events when they came to Denver, but since I've moved to SoCal in 2016 I haven't been to one (and really the live event experience isn't as good in my opinion because the lack of commentary is very distracting to me). However now I find myself in a once in a lifetime opportunity, where the grandest stage of them all is happening 21 miles from my apartment. I still haven't decided if I want to go or not because I'd be going alone and also this would be the first large gathering I'd be going to since before the dark times. I'm still 50/50 on it though because of the pros and cons are pretty balanced. I do guarantee you one thing though, if I do end up going I'll be wearing a This is Awesome shirt as it's the main reason I'm back in. Now If you'll excuse me, I need to get back to creating my 2K23 character (which hopefully won't take 8 hours like it did last year because I have the experience from last year).
