In the last two years Bolton and Cheney were banging the drum for a "tactical strike" against Iran. It was Gates and Condelezza Rice who advised restraint. Granted, it's a really low bar. FWIW, Gates said of Biden "he's been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades." So, I guess that means better days are ahead?
