GOALS FOR HOLES

Hey everyone! This is Kole checking in. Last month was huge for the network. We met another milestone goal and acquired a lot of new gear for our "Studio" (read: my second bedroom. I have no delusions). All of our audio is recorded locally over Skype, and these gear purchases let us improve the overall quality of our shows. You can check out the current studio setup in the photo above. You'll see the audio rack below the desk, on the left side. There are some empty spots in there, and that's why we're adding some new Milestone goals (not to buy more beer). I'm calling this next push GOALS FOR HOLES.At $1000 per month, we can afford a third pre-amp and a UPC. This means our third chairs (on shows like Bonfireside Chat) will benefit from the increased audio signal control. It also means we'll be able to protect our equipment from electrical failures that are bound to happen when you're running professional grade gear in the second bedroom of an old apartment. At $1250 per month, we can afford a fourth pre-amp and a used Mac Mini. This means the fourth chair on shows like The Level (and others) will benefit from the added signal control. This completes our goal of having a separate audio track for any possible host, and it will mark the last of our planned studio upgrades for now.We don't add new goals lightly. We set out on this Patreon adventure to establish predictable income to reinvest in the network. As that monthly number rises, we can seriously consider new goals that would have been completely out of reach before. We'll keep coming up with new ones as long as they seem feasible, responsible, and respectful of you as our fans. This campaign has been running for a little over three months, and it's been a very positive force in my life. Your very real financial support, along with well-wishes and encouragement, make a huge difference. I'm here to answer any questions you might have about the way we're handling things, if you have them. Thanks!Kole
