very, very intrigued by muse's choice to use blood for the murals, though? like truly at what point do you think "ah yes, THAT'S the best medium for my projects" 💀😭 i know art supplies are expensive but ~still~ lol

You'd think this was a heavy episode dealing with rough topics. @15:06: "I hope those footsteps were Matt--Matt." @17:53: "I went up against men three times my size." I read Adam's incredulous look as, "I don't remember Fisk facing down the Hulk, Thanos, or Cull Obsidian." I cannot express how necessary it was to watch this episode twice. The parallel arcs of both Matt and Fisk returning to their true natures, with fully unsubtle editing, is doubly blatant the second time around. Also, Muse is an absolute workaholic; those murals only showed up a few months back, and he's apparently abducted at least 60 victims (but really closer to 150 adding in those other 18 "unconfirmed" murals). Fisk isn't just ignoring a serial killer; he's ignoring a serial killer that is going to depopulate New York faster than the Snap did!

2025-03-31 21:40:57 +0000 UTCI saw a comment on another video of "A young girl in trouble is what caused Matt to become Daredevil, and a young girl in trouble is what caused Matt to return to being Daredevil" Context being that in Daredevil 1x10, when Foggy asks when/why Matt started becoming a vigilante, Matt mentions that one of his neighbors was a young girl whose dad visited her bedroom at night and she would cry during/after it, and Matt was forced to listen to it happen. The mom also just refused to accept/believe what was happening or do anything about it. So Matt then covered his eyes, dressed in black, and beat the shit out of the dad to save a young girl from being violated again. And after that, decided to spend his nights roaming the streets, which is where S1E1 begins (he saves a bunch of New York women who are about to be loaded onto a ship and sold into s*xual slavery in another continent) and now, in this episode, Matt realizes a young girl is in trouble and is about to be violated (in another way) by Muse and goes "F*ck it, I'm Daredevil again."
