like we finally got some teamwork BUT AT WHAT COST?! someone needs to either a) call frank or b) leak the info to dex about julieβs death π the only two ways we can win this lol
but also, rip karenβs brother π that whole flashback sequence was heartbreaking :/ & obviously RIP THE PRIEST, i did NOT see that coming π he didnβt deserve that π

Many people thought Karen would die in this episode, because in the comics Karen Page was killed by Bullseye at the church. Comics Karen Page was different than what the MCU version is; she was a sex worker and a heroin addict who told Fisk about Matt being Daredevil in exchange for some drugs, and then got murdered by Bullseye in a church while Daredevil failed to protect her. The Daredevil S1 writers promised Deborah Ann Woll that they wouldn't go down the prostitute path for this Karen though, but they still incorporated the drug usage into her past. and the episode being titled "Karen" with her flashback and her being at the church Bullseye was headed to convinced people they were gonna kill her, only for them to subvert expectations.

She was a reckless junkie hanging out with the wrong crowd, her brother took it too far with burning the RV, and her father should've just taken her advice and sold the diner. She didn't get locked up, but she has to live with what she did. This is the episode that internally made me cry. Father Lantom was one of the best characters of this show, and he was a guiding light for Matt growing up. He was also one of the realest characters along with Ben Urich.
