Can't relate, babe. The entire episode Maya was as careless as a raging bull in a china shop, and the china shop is the town where her family lives, and the end really solidifies her misconception. She thinks the reason they're mad she's in town is that they don't want to see her because they hate her, while she is in denial about her fears of seeing them; deep down she knows seeing them would shatter the walls she built like glass. For years, the only "family" she's had is Fisk's organization, which is why she treats Biscuits like a faithful soldier when in reality he's just a cousin who's willing to do anything to hang out with his estranged cousin again.
