[PRIORITY QUESTION THREAD] Duckfeed Live: 2016

Comments

Where do you two possibly find the time to work a day job, and then produce, edit and finalize so much content?

Darrin Michelson

How long until you guys run out of ways to "randomly" select a bad game during AS intros? Also, how much of these intros is scripted vs ad-libbed?

Mike Gallagher

When choosing games for WOFF, what makes you decide not to do something?

Eryk Nielsen

What are some of your favorite party members in RPGs you've done for WOFF based on their personality? I'm listening to the Phantasy Star IV episode that just dropped in the early release and Raja gave me the idea for this question.

Samuel Bair

What's the strangest recommendation, mention, or detail that ever pushed you over the edge into trying something? I didn't give a fuck about Stranger Things but an article about the show's score took it instantly from "nah" to "THIS IS FOR ME".

Sibyl Arnett

From what I've gathered, you are not that into grading games with letters or numbers. If Duckfeed.tv were to create a review show, how would it differ from that standard formula?

Fredrik R

Have you guys ever initially vetoed a game for WOFF/AS but then put it back into consideration, maybe even released an episode on it? If so, what made you come back to it?

Eric Plaisance

When you guys are thinking of new types of content (Ideas for shows, Livestreams, blogs, etc.), what are some places you draw inspiration from? What brainstorming tricks work best for you?

Michael Prehn

What are your thoughts on Nintendo's heavy handed response to fan games, as oppsosed to Sega? (post Streets of Rage.)

Pat Doherty

Was talking with a friend the other day about the upcoming Zelda game and how it was the first console based Zelda title I've been looking forward to since the N64 due to the 'open world' nature of it. That made him curious as to 'what about the other Zelda console' games and during our talk it hit me like a truck....with the exception of the Fallout franchise, I haven't enjoyed ANY of the franchises that changed from 2D to 3D. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Contra, Mega Man...games I grew up loving in their 2D format I either just consider 'meh' or downright hate in 3D format. I still love the 2D handheld or console offerings of those franchises, though. And I'm not a snob for modern games....for example, I love the Elder Scroll series which has always been in 3D. I'm not fully sure I understand my reasons for this and would be interested in hearing your guys thoughts. Is there something about a move from 2D to 3D that makes it very difficult to enjoy if you started out on it from game one, or am I just suffering from old man 'get off my lawn' mindset?

Greg Polander

Thoughts on No Man's Sky now that it's finally out?
