Adaptation Decay 7: Lara Croft Tomb Raider

Of course it's brainless. The action is dumb, and the way it's choreographed and shot reeks of "The Matrix just came out". The accents are all over the place. But it's fun, breezy, and faithful to the source material in a way that has proven to be rare in the film medium. Listen in for the scoop, and maybe give this one a rental.

You guys jolting my memory about the vision scene where they fight for the triangle jolted my memory, and I burst into laughter, because it's as random and absurd as you guys describe it. I remember being an 11 year old wondering what the hell that even was that happened. 🤣
