Hi! One of this month’s premium Abject Suffering episodes is about the free MMO Runescape. We could play this alone, but we’d rather get you all involved! So we’re holding a Duckfeed group event.
When: Thursday, June 7 at 8:00pm Eastern, 5:00pm Pacific
World: We’re doing this on World 34, the East Coast 2 server.
Here are the steps you should follow, and I recommend doing this before the actual event.
1. Go to Runescape.com and download the client.
2. Sign up for a free account.
3. Create your character (choose Normal Mode).
4. Complete the tutorial if you are not already intimately familiar with the joys of baking bread.
5. In the main menu (hit ESC), select “World Hop” and choose World 34 (East Coast US, the free one).
We will play for about two hours, or until the action dies down, whichever comes first.
If you decide to join us, remember to be respectful to existing players. Our aim is to experience this weirdo MMO and maybe be mischievous, but never mean-spirited.
So come join us and make it a good time.

I don't think I'll make it, but I discovered that I could access my account from 10 years ago! Open up my inventory screen and it's just twenty eggs. I forgot that after doing the quests I didn't feel like doing anything except cooking and praying.
