I'm replaying RE2make and RE3make side by side. I still love the originals but this is an amazing way to revisit one of my favorite games of all time.

2025-01-02 00:46:03 +0000 UTCI saw a speedrun of the toned-down Japanese release, and in that one, Elliot's bottom half is still connected to his body, but dyed red. It looks pretty laughable, like the zombies dumped a shelf of jam on his pants so hard that he died. Also, considering how much gorier the remake was willing to be, I found myself weirdly disappointed at how much less violent Irons' death was, when he's so much worse now.

2019-04-23 17:52:11 +0000 UTCI kinda disagree with you on Claire's SSA. I really like how the gun fires so quickly, but reloads so slowly. It encourages you to unload an entire clip into a dude, and put yourself in a real bad situation because of it. Don't like how they handle the ammo scarcity, but I really like guns that reload one bullet at a time in Survival Horror. Alien: Isolation also has a GREAT revolver that works similarly.
