Added 2019-10-09 20:55:38 +0000 UTCIf we didn't cover this game for the show, I'd have gone my whole life without learning that Bionicles aren't just very boring, but also very racist. That may be too strong... let's say... uncomfortably racially coded. It's hyper-serious and cribs a lot of tribal iconography, which makes it the most 2000s thing imaginable. And we spend the whole episode trying to wrap our heads around it.

I was pretty into Bionicle back in the day. I don't know why. At least I used my LEGO like they should be, and did a bunch of kitbashing and making my own monsters... but still. What a weird thing.
