First, we talk about the game's worst boss fight: The Demon of Hatred. Next, we recap the relevant lore bits from the conversations that arise when you give sake to Emma, Isshin, and the Sculptor. And finally, we cover the "Snake Stuff", i.e. everything you do with the Divine Child in order to open up the most complicated ending.

The headless and Ishin are almost just objectively garbage boss fights. But Hatred, I think you’re just missing the strategy a bit. Obviously the whistle item. But primarily you want to just continually circle his right foot.

2019-09-10 03:00:53 +0000 UTCI remember in the Hirata estate episode you guys said that Hirata was the first area they designed and that’s probably why it’s the only place you can get a “summon” for a boss battle. After hearing Emma’s sake dialogue it makes me really wish they stuck with having optional sunmons for some bosses. Fighting DoH side by side with Emma would have been amazing.

2019-09-09 21:26:31 +0000 UTCSo I didn't have the Puppeteer ability for that snake, but I somehow baited their attack and was able to get in behind it. I still got hit and took a ton of damage, but it wasn't all my health (and I didn't have nearly as much health as I could have). Also, the first time I used the kite grapple, Wolf somehow flew off course while I was low on health and I just died. Dunno what happened there.
