These games vary wildly in length, so different games will require different numbers of episodes to cover. We have a little time to make this choice, so the deadline for responding is Saturday, February 29.
The candidates will be listed in alphabetical order.
Ashen is a stylish open world Souls-inspired game from 2018.
Daughters of Ash is a comprehensive mod that revises Dark Souls with new lore, questlines, bosses, and enemies.
Eternal Ring is a FromSoft game from the PS2 launch era that follows in the footsteps of King's Field and Shadow Tower.
The Surge is a 2017 sci-fi Soulslike created by the Lords of the Fallen team, with combat that places a heavy emphasis on limb dismemberment.

2020-02-15 22:26:06 +0000 UTCOf all the Soulslikes I’ve played, Ashen comes the closest to actually “getting it.” It’s not a perfect game but I really dug the world design and atmosphere, and I think it would make for some good BSC content.
