Changes to the WOFF! Game Demand Reward

Hello! We hope you’re doing well. We’re posting this to notify you that beginning on July 1, 2020, we will be raising the price of the “Select a game for WOFF!” tier to $300.

We’re making this change because we’re running out of slots too quickly. As of this writing, 2020 is almost completely booked. This creates two problems: we don’t want someone to be frustrated that their pick won’t come around for a year, and we have less flexibility when it comes to changing things around if we need to.

We’re announcing the change ahead of time because we know that people are saving up, or sitting on a recommendation for some other reason. If you would like to back at the current $150 price, please contact us and we will work it out.

As a personal note, we’ve been sitting on this change for a while because we’re reluctant to raise prices on anything, really. We’re very fortunate that the Patreon is doing quite well at the moment, so please understand that we’re not making this move out of greed, but to solve a scheduling problem on our biggest and most work-intensive show.

Let us know in the comments, or by contacting us, if you have any questions about this change in policy. Thanks again for your support, especially with all of the crazy stuff that’s happening right now. We’re excited about this summer of shows, and we can’t wait to get them to you.

We would have everyone submit their desire, and then when we picked we could reach out to them and ask them to patronize, but it's much easier to just have people pick the thing they want from the patreon interface. So, we could have such a lottery, but it'd be a pain in the ass. -GB

You could keep the price and do a lottery system. Only pay if your game is picked. Only book X months out.

My only regret is that I don't have a game that I want you guys to cover. I think the last game I wanted you to do that you hadn't was Shattered Memories. Seems completely reasonable to me.

Still a bargain

How dare you! Highway robbery! I'm kidding, I like this change, and it's still a steal at $300 for the work you guys put in. Love the show(s)! Watch out for an upcoming executive produced Viewtiful Joe request from me.

Brian Perkins

Glad to hear that these are the problems you're having. Keep up the good work!

Matt Bixler! Hello!

Seems absolutely sensible! And a month's time to prepare seems more than suitable.
