DO NOT USE THE iOS PATREON APP!!!

THEY ARE PLAYING WITH OUR WALLETS

After doing some research and contacting support, I've come to the understanding that Apple is essentially screwing with everyone's money. And to all those who have been having problems subscribing, I am so very sorry... As it seems that there was genuinely nothing I could've done.

If you don't know by now, recently there's a new policy that has almost nothing to do with Patreon where as all Apple and iOS users (more specifically those who use the iOS Patreon app) will charge 30% more for any purchase made through it - including all subscriptions. This extra 30% goes straight into Apples pockets and causes your payment to be withheld for up to 75 days, which means I don't get to withdraw payment from apple users till about 2 and half months, and if I know anything about these kinds of issues, there's about a 9/10 chance that the processing system will prevent you from either re-subscribing, or even so much as buying a subscription until those 75 days are up.

Here is what you can do to prevent further issues:

1. DO NOT USE THE APPLE iOS PATREON APP.

2. USE AN ANDROID DEVICE OR DESKTOP BROWSER TO PURCHASE AND/OR SUBSCRIBE TO CREATORS ON PATREON.

3. IF YOU ARE A CREATOR, SET iOS PRODUCT PRICING TO "Keep product prices the same everywhere" SO THAT APPLE CAN'T CHARGE PEOPLE MORE THAN WHAT YOU CHARGE THEM.

4. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION WITH ANY CREATORS USING THE iOS PATREON APP, DO NOT, UN-SUBSCRIBE WITH PLANS TO RE-SUBSCRIBE UNLESS YOU DON'T PLAN ON COMING BACK FOR A WHILE (THERE'S NO GAURANTEE THAT YOU'LL GET YOUR REFUND OR IF YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SUBSCRIBE FOR THE NEXT 75 DAYS IF YOU LEAVE).

FURTHER MORE I WILL BE SETTING MY iOS PRODUCT PRICING TO "Keep product prices the same everywhere", in an effort to prevent this issue from becoming a bigger problem for everyone than it already is... As if I would ever do that to you in the first place 🤝.

(btw, hopefully this gets people to realize that Apple products actually genuinely suck and that I wasn't crazy for sticking with android my whole life 🤣🤣🤣🤣)
