Updates from the Drone

Hope everyone is doing well from the beginning of the end-of-the-year chaos that usually comes right after Thanksgiving. I've definitely been busy at work and getting ready to move to a smaller, easier to manage apartment (moving at the start of next year). I am most looking forward to some good writing time over the next week as things wind down at work and at home.
I will be posting some new stuff on the Aliens story as I get to it, as I'm excited for the next part of the story. It is my first time writing something like a chase scene and I hope it turns out ok. This story is kinda taking a life of its own and I'm really excited for where it is going. While I did write a draft of the story, a draft is just a guide. As I write and think deeper about it, the characters can sometimes jump out of the page and take the story in a direction I wasn't anticipating. It is that part that makes me so excited about writing stories, but the best part is knowing that there are others who want to read them too.
