Adaptation Decay 47: Sonic Cartoons

First, we talk about "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog", which aired in syndication on weekdays. Specifically, we talk about the episode "Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad", which gives the origin story for two of the show's annoying villains.
Next, we talk about "Sonic the Hedgehog", or Sonic SatAm, which aired on ABC during their Saturday morning programming block. This is the darker, more serious, more boring one. Sonic works alongside the freedom fighters of Knothole village to thwart the grim plots of Dr. Robotnik. Did we mention that it's boring?

As someone who doesn’t even have a tertiary knowledge of sonic outside of like two games and childhood memories of both these shows. Learning about sonic THROUGH you guys has been hilarious. Knuckles’ Rasta echidna tribe family. What a 311-coded idea.
