Finding My Way Chapter 1

Here’s the first chapter. I thought about the progression of the story and figured a slower beginning might be a good idea. I will have a few polls posted in which you can offer suggestions on initial directions for the story. While I have an outline to help guide my thoughts, ultimately I think the story should guide itself. Happy to hear your thoughts on this and hope you enjoy.
