July Update 2

In late August, I will undergo a minimally invasive surgery for my tennis elbow using a treatment called TenJet. Last year, I completed ten years of higher education, which involved a lot of writing and mouse-clicking. For the past year, I have been undergoing physical therapy to repair and strengthen my neck, shoulders, and arms. Although I have seen significant improvement, my recovery has reached a plateau, and I still experience annoying pain when I engage in prolonged typing or mouse-clicking, which is common in my day job as a research scientist. I am hoping that this surgery will help further my recovery. Thankfully, despite the surgery putting one of my arms out of commission for several weeks, I will still be able to use speech-to-text software (Dragon NaturallySpeaking) to write. However, editing may be a bit slower. I appreciate all the support I've received from my medical team, friends, and family, and I'm optimistic that the surgery will lead to a full recovery. I'm certainly looking forward to getting back to my work without the distraction of pain and discomfort.
