Shadows Die Twice is not Bloodborne 2!

Let me explain.
Remember the story of Artorias?
We thought he was a hero who conquered the abyss. Wrong! The soul of Artorias tells us that “The legend that Artorias repelled the Abyss only told half the story. It seems that he was defeated, and his honor preserved, by some unsung hero, who is the true victor of the Abyss.” We were all misguided.
Tricky, tricky Miyazaki!

Remember the cover of The Old Hunters?
Speculations ran wild as to who this person could be. We weren’t even sure if it was a man or a woman. My money was on Caryll. Regardless, we were all wrong. Some came close, but no one in the world guessed that this character was “Maria”.
Tricky, tricky Miyazaki!

Remember Ashes of Ariandel?
Well, by the time the trailer came out, I knew we wouldn’t be able to guess the characters of the DLC, I figured we shouldn’t even try. I was sure of one thing though, experience taught me that no way the bulbous crow in the DLC would be Velka. Too easy. (I jokingly suggested this person was Ariandel in one of my trailer analysis but that was a shot in the dark.)

And Remember The Ringed City?
I figured the sleeping egg lady was going to be a character we’ve never seen before. She was going to be literally anyone, except someone we encountered in the DkS series. I assumed she was a giant Lalafell cooking an omelet. I like to think I was half right.
Back to Shadows Die Twice. We can grasp at straws and try go guess what the 10 second trailer of Shadows Die Twice represents. We can try to analise the kanji, the noises, the bones, the rope and the little knife. And maybe we'll get somewhere. But we have to keep in mind- the more this trailer makes us think of Bloodborne, the more the clues point toward BB, the more it means this trailer isn’t Bloodborne 2. Because that’s how tricky, tricky Miyazaki works.
I got you figured out buddy! No way you’re ever tricking me again!
In conclusion, Shadows Die Twice is more likely to be a Hello Kitty game than Bloodborne 2.
