Steamforged made an attempt at a Dark Souls board game, and we don't really like it. However, they distilled its best parts into a faster card game, and it works a little better! Listen for the particulars of how it works, and how it relates to Souls' unique mechanics.

You should be able to get it on android. There's nothing on our end we're doing to stop the RSS from working on that platform. The individual podcast app might not agree with the RSS, however.

I agree 100% with your criticisms of the Dark Souls game. However, I strongly encourage you to give Resident Evil a try. I think it does an excellent job as a survival horror game, creating an atmosphere in which you never feel safe, resources are scarce, and forcing you to make tough choices between fighting and running.
