Watch Out for Fireballs! 341: Fallout 4: Far Harbor (Premium)

This week's premium episode takes us to the biggest DLC pack for Fallout 4, Far Harbor. A missing person's case brings us to an island torn in three pieces, split among factions who can barely tolerate each other, with a buried secret that might bring the whole place tumbling down. This DLC is the best story content in Fallout 4 by far, and it's go a great horror atmosphere that we couldn't wait to talk about.

Just the DLC got a preview. What we said is we wouldn't put parts of a game out, then the final part as a preview. DLCs are fair game, since they stand alone.

Catching up with some of the newer episodes I'm suprised to see a multi part game like fallout 4 having a "preview" episode. I recall either kole or gary saying that these will never be "locked" to the non-patrons. Maybe you guys changed your mind on it or I just didnt pay enough attention tho.

This has made me rethink Fallout 4. I love Fallout 1 & 2 so much that I couldn’t help but hear every line of dialogue as a nail in the coffin of one of my favorite gaming franchises. I think I’ll try to revisit it on its own terms. I’m even a little excited to finally try Far Harbor. Great episodes all around guys. Hope everyone’s holidays are happy (or at least not a desperate fight with the cruel agents of fate emanating from the mists of pre-history like a wave of pain from times unknown, playing out in your family get togethers as an unmanageable relentless assault against all that is decent by souls lost in the night of the desolation of the soul, residents of the valley of the shadow of death).

so is Nick, wildly enough! it’s harder to tell because of the hard boiled detective affect

One thing I noticed about old Longfellow that was pretty neat. Being an long time far harbor resident, he’s really stuck in his ways, and you’ll take hits to your relationship with him when you convince people to do things they wouldn’t normally want to do. Found that cool compared to most of the base companions who “like it when you’re good/honest.” Also forgive me if this comes up later in the ep but DiMA is played by Stephen Russell (Corvo/Garrett)

God damn there's some good Kole in these fallout episodes. Keep up the good work good boys!

Been to Bar Harbor a few times. Most beautiful National Park for sure but unfortunately the Harbor is just full of tourist attractions and overpriced everything and is off-putting. But if you are willing to explore then you can find some lovely little diners and meet cool weird sea people!
