I know scheduling guests can be a challenge but I don’t think a tight agenda for appendices is necessary; they don’t even need to be connected to the areas, really. I just enjoy hearing the different perspectives in the mix.

I worry that necessary intro and admin stuff would eat into the content more in a one hour format, and you guys would be less able to hit your stride talking about an area. On the other hand, if you were taking a single biweekly two hour recording session and just splitting it and releasing it in weekly parts, I feel like that might work well without breaking your conversational flow or the "deep dive" quality.

And if you do decide to switch to weekly episodes, it would also probably behoove you guys to make a quick announcement on the public feed to draw those people in. But I hate waiting for two weeks and would take an hour, weekly, if you could do it. That said I think you should leave yourselves some flexibility - haven beaten the game, I think you’re certainly aware there are some areas like legacy dungeons that may make more sense to simply do in one longer episode. I can’t think of a clean way to break those up.

2022-04-02 21:21:55 +0000 UTCChose "Don't Care" in the poll, because I'd rather whichever option best matches the area you need to cover in the episode - would rather have two hours every two weeks if those two hours can wrap up an area, rather than the same area awkwardly split into two one-hour episodes. Conversely, if two-hour episodes end up needing to mash two sub-areas together, or worse 2/3 of an area (looking at you, Liurnia). In summary, The Lands Between is a world of contrasts...
