Chaos warrior steel blade PDF tutorial
Added 2020-02-01 07:00:03 +0000 UTCHey everyone - here is the pdf tutorial for painting the nmm steel blade on the chaos warriors sword. The technique i use to glaze, is the same as i use in the video tutorial for painting the NMM steel axe, so check out that video if you want to be sure how i do.

Hey Emil :) Yeah it gives a damaged and bruised kind of look - a clean blade for a chaos warrior wouldnt make sence - in my opinion :D ! The consistity i use for the glazing this blade is actually 100 % similar to the various of painting recipes i use in the NMM armour videos & also the NMM steel axe video - if you follow the process of that, you will reach the same result as in this pdf tutorial :) Hope this could help?

2020-02-02 10:53:00 +0000 UTCHey Michael :) Intermediate blue is a paint from Vallejo - sorry if i didnt make it clear, i am always to point out wich brand they are from. If you only use Citadel paints u can make a 1:1 mix of dawnstone & incubi darkness, that colour will be pretty similar to intermediate blue :) Hope this helps! Best regards Nikolas

2020-02-02 10:52:53 +0000 UTCI like the offset highlights on the blade. That's a novel and cool idea. You write glazing. But it looks like your marks are more heavy and opaque than I get, when I use glazing. Can you perhaps talk a little about your paint consistencies?
