Stormcast eternal blueish armour Video tutorial + NMM gold pdf tutorial

Hey everyone - here is a video tutorial for painting the blueish armour of a stormcast eternal . There is furthermore attached a pdf tutorial for painting the NMM gold areas on him too. I have added a video reference below for how to glaze a NMM trim - just to show how i use the glazing technique when painting NMM elements on a armour. & furthermore a video tutorial for how i locate light reflections. 

Citadel alternatives for vallejo paints:

Blue armour: 

Ivory - screaming skull / white 1:1 mix

Emerald - Sotek green

Lemon yellow - Yriel yellow

NMM gold: 

Golden yellow - Averland sunset

English uniform - XV88

Mahogany brown - 1:1 mix of gorthor brown & doombull brown

Hey man :) Ah great to hear - hope you will get a nice look on it :) When i stipple, it is mainly because i want to create a texture on the specific area - for example on the Death Guard models i have made stippling videos of, you can see that they get a kind of damaged look wich i think is cool - and yeah as you mention yourself, its easier to get a smooth transition on round shapes :)

Busy following this tutorial and tyring to replicate it on one of my stormcast (had to make some eyeball judgement on the paint colors based on what I have). I'm wondering though how/when you decide to stipple vs glaze, is it just based on what look you want or is there another factor as well (i.e. color, technique, position)? I find that glazing lighter colors always ends up a smudge for me. EDIT: other than of course the round parts like the kneecaps you already mentioned.
