WIP of a mini with a story (Tutorials coming up)

Hey everyone. As some of you may know from my stories on IG, me & my partner parted after being together for 6 years, a couple of weeks ago. Its been one of the most difficult times of my life, but now i have collected energy to continue all my works & do what i love - painting miniatures & creating tutorials!

This model from the cities of sigmar, really spoke to me, & its been the first model i worked on, since the breakup. This if ofcourse still a WIP & i will post the final photos soon - but the model represents the mindset ive been in during this time period - the corpse like body, represents how my mind & body has reacted on the breakup - not been able to eat or sleep properly, losing weight & a emotions thats been out of a normal balance. The flute (music) & smile on the face of the model, also represents the positive things, that i know is waiting for me in the future - hope & in general a better life. The blossom of the wooden piece, also represents a new start/grow, coming out of something that appears somewhat dead. Finally the red colour of the scarf, that represents the heart, love and passion.

Its interesting how specific models, can speak to you in such situations, & its been really therepeutic to work on this specific models. I will do tutorials for the skin & scarf, so stay tuned for it & more tutorials very soon !
