October Contest ... Hunt Events

I know one of KDM's biggest complaints after many play throughs is lack of random hunt event variety. Well, TheAluminumMan is changing that with a new 100 hunt events.
The ask:
- We need 1-2 solid Hunt Events to help add to the mix.
- Please post in this Google Doc
- We will collect all of the posted events and post the Friday before Halloween to be voted on by the community and the project lead ... TheAluminumMan

Hey @everyone , Aluminum Man here. I’ve got to say that the October Hunt Event contest was a success. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate and write out their hunt events! If you’d like to check out any of the submitted events before you read further, go here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10-1oV-rYTFmteG7yvn1pKzKu9PsDVIs38Ae1WbbnlXk/edit Overall, we received 43 different event submissions (half a random hunt event table in itself!), and I had a lot of fun reading them all over and choosing a winner to add to my own hunt event table as the illustrious event #99. First, I’d like to give a shout out to some of the runner up events: The Great Sage by KingCrusher: Within the world of Kingdom Death, we are often exposed to a myriad of unique characters. We never really find out if they are survivors, or if they are something… else. I’m speaking specifically of characters like the Surgeon (hunt event #42), the Cloaked Stranger (hunt event #96), and the Mask Salesman (hunt event #53). The Great Sage would fit in perfectly with this cast. Shattered Sea by Staleman: Shattered Sea is a great example of visual storytelling that alludes to something more that used to exist in the past of Kingdom Death. We’ve seen similar hints in the lore for the Rust Ocean, and signs across the Plain of Stone Faces- ruined columns and the rubble of settlements and cities that came before. I like to imagine that the Shattered Sea is the remnants of some sort of vast battle from a time long-gone, or perhaps a forgotten horde of weapons collected by an obsessive Entity. But the winner of this month’s contest goes to an event written by TheEndCreep!
