First I would like to show off some art and models that we have been able to acquire through commissions and the amazing generosity of the patreon and discord community, some of whom have volunteered their time to craft these amazing pieces.

A special call out for Clement Y.D. Moreau who volunteered to do art for the ENTIRE PROLOGUE STORY! What a madman. Here is a taste of their work.

And if that wasn’t enough, Clement also produced art for each of the Shrieking Eel’s traits!
So far the Shrieking Eel is the only monster with full art on each of its traits, but the current plan is to fill out as many of the traits as possible.
I am absolutely overjoyed to have so much art and models to fill my seas and we are working on getting all the pieces to make as close to a fully authentic KDM experience as possible.
Playtesting continues!
A lot has been tweaked and moved around thanks to continued playtesting! Five of Clubs’ run of the first 4 Lantern Years and an internal CCG playtest lead by Chaosfarseer and Slay have led to a host of adjustments and alterations. New locations and gear have also been created to add more depth and choice in your settlement’s build path.
A major alteration that will be sure to rock some boats is the removal of the Rawhide set. But fear not, the set has been replaced with a new set designed to offer new flexible build styles and allow for you to slip a few extra gear cards into your grid.

As a quick example, the below picture shows how, with the Wetsuit Set power, you can cover the Trunks from the Wetsuit with the Eel Hide Skirt since they both share the waist location symbol. By doing this, you are unable to access the affinity lock and affinity half on the Trunks, but you gain full access to the Eel Hide Skirt gear as normal while still gaining the 1 waist armor and +1 departing survival from the Trunks.

The last big addition that I want to show off today is a small tweak that had a significant effect on gear pathing and grid building in the playtests that followed it.

With this addition, your survivors can find unusual ways to combine various pieces of gear without worrying about the significant loss in power that usually comes with forgoing an armor set bonus.
What’s Next:
We continue. I am excited to see new WIP pictures of models and art coming in, but the demands are high. To bring this project up to the KDM standards CCG aspires to, there are a myriad of small touches and a number of art pages that still need to be designed and crafted. We are almost done with all of the models, just 2 remaining after the Leviathan!
Playtesting, more and more playtesting. A lot has been done, but this is a massive project with a full 30 year campaign and lots of hidden/optional paths. Some random hunt events are being swapped out and swaths of the mid/late campaign have seen minimal action. This is because playtesting takes a considerable amount of time and those who have volunteered to playtest have busy lives.
If you or a friend would like to help out with playtesting, please reach out to me in the CCG discord. I would be happy to get anyone set up with the campaign and I am hungry for feedback.
For anyone that would like to dip their toes into the water but doesn’t want to venture into the rough playtest waves can go up to LY 15 and level 2 quarries. That being said, the game will not break at higher Lantern Years, it is fully stable and playable to the end, but you may find some balance issues that have yet to be fully addressed.
