Tracks of Death - Hunt System Upgrade

The track system adds agency to the Hunt Event phase by allowing the departing survivors to choose between 3 distinct tracks, each with their own dangers and rewards. Each adds a simple and yet meaningful decision to offset the purely random chance of the hunt phase.
When you begin your hunt phase you will have the option to choose between 3 tracks; Your choice determines how you want to travel towards your prey. You may either take The Beaten Path, The Monster's Trail, or The Unknown Way.
Tracks of Death Rules In order to use the route system, add these to the existing rules for the Hunt Board Setup.
Look through and sort the Hunt Event: Tracks of Death cards into 3 decks according to their Track Name, found below the title of each card. If a card does not have a route name, then do not add it to any deck and keep it archived in the box until specified.
Before leaving the Start Space the first event revealer decides which track to take. Return the other Track Decks to the box, assemble and shuffle the Chosen Route Deck.
For the duration of the Hunt Phase, whenever any game text instructs you to roll on the Hunt Event Table, or have any unspecified Basic Hunt Event; shuffle and draw a card from your current Chosen Track Deck instead.
Upon reaching and completing Overwhelming Darkness (or its replacement), the players have the option to select a new route as their Chosen Track Deck. Shuffle (and construct) the new deck if necessary. This effect only occurs the first time you complete the Overwhelming Darkness event.

2023-12-12 11:29:52 +0000 UTCI had the same issue others are reporting. It appears to be directly tied to MPC & being logged into an account (for me). When I bring them up they are all different, then when I complete and add one to cart, then log in - all the other links turn into the last one I processed. My solution was to: Go 1 deck at a time. Not be logged in. Once added to cart then log in so that it's in your cart (I also saved it to projects), then log out. Go to the next deck, do the same, log in only once it's in your cart (& is the correctly named, unique deck). Log out again - rinse and repeat. This took all of 5 minutes, if that, and resolved the issue I was having. Cheers!

It takes a portion of the game that is essential an random luck fest and adds player agency and an evolving narrative without steering too far from the original design intention or making it more complex than it needs to be. 2020-03-15 18:58:52 +0000 UTCThe system is entirely modular. You can pick and choose which you want to use or throw everything in. Pack 2 expansion events should only be added if you are using those expansions though.

2020-03-05 04:40:38 +0000 UTCLooks like there may be a typo in the Hunt event tracker. On the #28 Trollbird row it has the ABC cards from 18, while the 28 cards are on the 27th row. I hope that makes sense. Also on the 93C card Last Chapter I think it should say lose instead of love. Looking forward to playing with these!!

The purpose of it is for when you are running multiple campaigns and need to rebuild that state for another campaign you are playing. Therefore, if playing Slenderman, and you use 23A, then you would check off 23A that you added it to the deck.

(I see that there are 3 copies of lost, one for each of the trails, but that does not seem to be the case for others) 2) On the tracker, some start with the basic event on the left column with the #A event to the right while others have the #A event on the far left (example 23A clean water). Should we treat all events that have and A/B/etc. as if the A is first? 3) Why are there some unlabeled squares, such as on 23 clean water?
