I am proud to finally release this addition which expands the KDM Generic Hero line into customizable classes with level unlocks, loads of new gear, armor sets and a genetic breeding system mini game.
It is a variation of Hero Mode with adjustable difficulty levels based on your group's playstyle.
Over 5 months of work went into the making of this with primary contributions from revel911 and additional from venim, chaosfarseer, wayforger, pyroguy and JayRicktor.
We borrowed heavily from Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (and I purchased all the game manuals to use for reference in converting those abilities to kingdom death abilities and gear).

MPC Links (DO NOT alter the MPC files)
Inside the folders, you will find 2x2 mini cards for all the new abilities, fighting arts, disorders and genetic traits. Additionally, standard size cards are provided for the new disorders. Standard sizes may come later for the abilities but that is much later. There is also a folder for 2x2 crafting recipes for coin sleeve binders.
Isn’t someone else working on a similar project? Answer: Maybe, but this is 100% ours from the ground up. We hope they do well, but this is how our group visioned DnD classes to be mechanically added.

Oh hey, I should add that there's been a development since I posted this - and don't want to take up your time unnecessarily. I generated a full 480 card 2x2 deck list with the contents of Trial of Champions! I like the gear sized cards as I can use my coin sheets in a 3x4 grid and keep the abilities on it alongside the gear (to visually remind me :P). If there's any benefit in giving you the list just let me know! I filled out the last few dozen slots with 4 sets of things like the Haversack, Prayer Beads, & such - so removing the non-official card counts would be easy enough.

I'm considering using the images, though am a little lost as to what cards backs are used when, hehe. I also noticed in the Print & Play gears/abilities that between pages 1 & 2 (front & back) some of the cards have a reverse side instead of a regular card back, is this intentional for reducing the amount of cards needing to be printed through MPC, or is there a specific design choice behind this?

Regarding the trails of champions, I like to try and collect the minis that mirror community created content. In the trails of champions, the assassin class looks like the dark elf, is that correct? Also, the first character, what mini is that art from? Any response would be most appreciated, thank you for all of this great content!!!

2020-03-01 07:22:45 +0000 UTCYes, I did this because each Champion can only pick 1 out of the 4 abilities. By printing them double sided like this and 2 of each, a play group can run 2 of the same type of Champion.

For example, for the Ranger class, would Cordon of Arrows activate, then flip to become Natural explorer and vice versa (image example > https://imgur.com/80eVPQJ) also, looking over the Caltrops item (Thief) it doesn't have an activation cost, is this intentional?
