The Veriphidian - Alpha Test - New Node 4 Quarry
Added 2020-04-20 02:31:23 +0000 UTCIn the dark, there exist predators of all shapes and forms, but few as fierce and terrifying as the massive Veriphidian of the swamp. These monsters have learned that the best way to grow and evolve is to eat anything of interest, hunting new prey in an endless bid for power and potential. These creatures adapt to new prey almost instantaneously, honing their instincts or hardening their scales to find an edge. Their favorite prey are the wandering Kingsman, with acidic blood keep their venom sharp and tangy.
Hunting the Veriphidian is a settlement’s feat of strength, able to rise to the top of the food chain and hunt down that which hunts all others. Survivors will need to balance preparation and lethality in a bloody battle of both time and speed as they contend with the monster’s poison and high speed positioning.
The expansion is designed to be added to the Kingdom Death: Monster core game. It includes:
- Veriphidian sprues (includes one Head, one Tail, and two Body segments for the monster.)
- 30x Rare Gear cards
- 10x Pattern cards
- 39x Veriphidian AI cards
- 24x Veriphidian HL cards
- 9x Veriphidian Hunt Event cards
- 6x Strange Resource cards
- 2x Disorder cards
- 1x Fighting Art card
- 2x Secret Fighting Art cards
- 1x Armor Set Bonus card
- 1x Bookmark card
This expansion introduces rare gear towards the end game, including ten patterns from the wisdom of retiring survivors (or survivors that survive the Veriphidian) and the new Gigavermin gear, six new vermin mounts which the players must raise themselves to be able to ride into battle.
