Butcher Intro Event
Added 2020-05-19 02:38:55 +0000 UTCOne of our top requests from our poll two weeks back was enhancing existing in-game content.
One of my personal complaints about People of the Lantern is how both the Butcher and Gold Smoke Knight get added into the timeline with little to no narrative.
The CE team (which 4 of us are a member of) took care of the Gold Smoke Knight with an intro event, so we decided to cap that off and create an event for Butcher.
This is a soft release as we gather typos and grammar checks.

2020-06-01 15:46:42 +0000 UTC3 courage can be obtained I think fairly easily. 1 from Returning Survivors, 1 from Endless Screams, 1 from this event, not counting what occurs in the hunts. The risk to lose courage balances with the gain of a free organ (crucial against butcher). Since a lot of bad occurs on the lowest result, could omit the courage loss there.

2020-05-20 18:27:05 +0000 UTCI will take into consideration, but overall this event is quite thematically correct aligned and the bonuses are quite even. 50/50 for good and bad, with the very good and the very bad being on the upper and lower 20%. Changes made, will probably end up small like decreasing courage loss and increasing insanity gained.

2020-05-20 11:52:18 +0000 UTCThanks for your work! I find the whole event a bit too punishing. The -1 population and dreaded trophies is rough. The requirement of 3 courage (for roll of 5,6,7...) Is high in LY3. And the Berserk fighting art is not something Im looking for often. The gear is nice, but the rest feels to hard for me. And, jeah I know, it's the butcher... But stil I would skew the punishment/reward balance
