Sorry for the lack of stream / art yesterday. I got new glasses!
For the first time in decades I was able to afford insurance and get my eyes checked and prescription updated n' all that.
I'd been having trouble reading and seeing in general but now, wow.. it's like I suddenly one of those Bravestar powers (eyes of the hawk!) and can see everything.. but with that came a rip-roaring headache and I spent a lot of yesterday just sorta sitting around letting my head get used to everything.
I should be good to go for later today. I actually got a second pair just for the computer with a slightly adjusted prescription and blue light stuff.. the works. Looking forward to seeing if there's any change.

2024-05-30 00:45:19 +0000 UTCBravo, Duck! I see an eye doctor once a year to stave off diabetic retinopathy as well as macular degeneration which runs in my family history. Don't mess with either of those things! I'd also take Lutein or a good multi-compound eye health vitamin like AREDS which my mom takes. Good luck, Duck!
