And there's other cool stuff up here, too, like one of the hardest bosses in the game: Alecto. Next up is a Roundtable episode, and then were off (or up?) to Altus to begin the next leg of the season.

i absolutely love this podcast but rarely comment. i just wanted to say though i absolutely love the way you two can so elegantly and concisely verbalize your thoughts. i’m in awe listening to you and love your opinions and views on the games you love and the world. people talk about brilliant minds they would love to have gather around for a dream dinner party. you two are high on my list for sure.

2023-01-06 12:31:48 +0000 UTCSo, I think one of the big disconnect between me and the Bonfire guys is they view the Golden Order as nothing but a religion and the Greater Will as just a God they worship, but it's not the case, they are more than that. The Greater Will is literally physics. The laws of causation and regression are real world concepts in physics. These concepts exist regardless of worship. These are the things Goldmask is talking about and how they exist outside of human dogma. These concepts still exist in Ranni's ending, she's not actually freeing people of the mechanisms that control reality and admits as such. What she is doing is just hiding them from the populous.
